I awoke this morning to find in my newsfeed something I’d feared would happen for a long time. What I feared was that elements of Europe’s extremist and completely un-assimilatable Muslims would go full Nazi on Europe’s Jews. Sadly this is what has appeared to have happened in Amsterdam.

My newsfeed has been full of video and accounts of Muslims running through Amsterdam in the Netherlands and attacking any Jew or Israeli that they could find. The trouble kicked off after a football match between the Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv and the Dutch team Ajax. Whilst some Islamic and left wing commentators, such as the BBC, out there are claiming that the trouble started when Maccabi Tel Aviv fans pulled down a ‘Palestine’ flat that was being flown from a building, that’s clearly not the whole story. There are a growing number of credible sounding first hand accounts from Maccabi Tel Aviv fans and others about the violence and it is looking increasingly likely that this is not just a run of the mill bit of football aggro, but a planned and organised mass attack on by Muslims on Jews. There’s always been football aggro surrounding flags, scarves, banners and the presence of opposing supporters but this is much more than that, this is Muslims using the pretence of a football game to go out and violently attack any Jew they could find.

Although the mainstream media such as the BBC and Sky in the UK initially treated this as football hooliganism that got out of hand, even these often ideologically bent news outfits had to drop that line eventually. It is clearly so much more than normal football aggro going on in Amsterdam that even these outlets have had to bow to objective reality and call these disturbances in the Netherlands what they are which is ‘anti-Semitic riots’.

I’m horrified by what I’m hearing and seeing from the Netherlands with regards to the latest eruption of Islam inspired Jew hatred. Sources that I consider reasonably reliable such as the Hamas Atrocities X account have claimed that:

Israelis were ambushed – Several are reported missing – People were thrown into the river – Several incidents of people run over by cars – Attackers had knives and baseball bats – Passports were stolen and published online – Families with children were attacked by mobs – Women were beaten – Several men were beaten unconscious – Local authorities lost control of the city – Muslim migrants broke into hotels, threw incendiary devices through windows and burned Israeli flags.

A Dutch Jewish group has also claimed in the above linked BBC report that taxi drivers in Amsterdam were behind some of the organisation of the Pogrom. A spokesman for the group was quoted by the BBC and the BBC report said:

The Central Jewish Consultation (CJO), the main Jewish community organisation in the Netherlands, says Amsterdam taxi drivers “played a major role in the assaults” last night.

Chanan Hertzberger, chairman of CJO, states there appears to be “app traffic” indicating the taxi drivers “meticulously prepared this pogrom”.

“Amsterdam should be deeply ashamed, the Netherlands should be deeply ashamed,” Hertzberger says.

Earlier, Esther Voet, editor-in-chief of a Dutch Jewish weekly told Israeli public broadcaster Kan 11 that “the day before yesterday there was this clash with taxi drivers here in Amsterdam” adding that “right now you don’t really know who you could trust”.

If the situation in the Netherlands is similar to that which exists in the United Kingdom where many taxi and private hire drivers are Muslim, then this claim probably has the ring of truth about it. It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that a group of taxi drivers who have a common religious and political ideology and whose ideology has Jew hatred at its very heart, would organise violence against Jews.

Some of the other unconfirmed reports that I’ve heard are extremely worrying. In one report I read it said that some of the Muslim rioters and Pogromists raped a woman, it is not known at this stage whether she was targeted for being Jewish or merely non-Muslim, and then after they’d raped her threw her into one of Amsterdam’s many canals. Other reports tell of Jewish men knocked unconscious and being kicked whilst on the ground by mobs of Muslim men. Even more concerning are the more credible reports that some Israelis have been taken prisoner by the Muslim mobs and there have been calls on social media by various people for the Israeli military to prepare for a Munich 72 style situation to occur in the Netherlands. I hope and pray that those who are currently considered as captives are merely temporarily out of touch with family and friends and not in the hands of these Islamic savages.

It’s more than likely that what we’ve seen in Amsterdam is not spontaneous violence but something that has been planned by the more extreme elements in the Dutch Islamic community. The date of this football fixture would have been known to a vast number of people quite a long way in advance of the event. This would leave ample time for agitators in mosques, ‘Islamic community centres’ and in various intra-communal friendship groups for this pogrom to be planned. If this planning was all done face to face and in large part offline, then the much vaunted security and internet monitoring and indeed censorship systems that have been relied on so much by Western nations to ‘solve’ the problem of extremism, could have been quite easily bypassed. There have also been reports that Israeli security agencies alerted the Dutch authorities to the threat of Muslim violence against Jews connected to the Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Ajax match and that the Israelis passed on intelligence to the Dutch security agencies about the planned Pogrom but the Dutch allegedly ignored the Israeli warnings.

The Dutch police are also coming in for some stinging criticism. There are claims that the local police in Amsterdam took excessively long times to get to the victims of this Muslim violence and that they broke out the riot gear far too late to be of any assistance. It does strike me as unusual that policing of a match that was bound to be tense and involving a team, Ajax, that has had a strong hooligan reputation, didn’t have a massive public disorder policing presence at this game. It is likely that more will come out about this aspect of the story as time goes on. But it would not surprise me to find out that the Amsterdam police have the sort of similar problems with political correctness, identity politics and Islamopandering as London’s Metropolitan Police has and which has led to radical Muslims being given carte Blanche permission to engage in Jew hatred on London’s streets.

What is happening in the Netherlands is not I’m afraid confined to the Netherlands. The same problems that the political classes have created with regards the importation and nurturing of types of Islam and types of Muslim which cannot be assimilated into Western societies is a problem for much of Western Europe. The sort of violence carried out by these Muslim mobs in Amsterdam is not specific to that city or even the Netherlands as a whole, this is because the same sort of Muslims that carried out the Amsterdam Pogrom are present in significant numbers in Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Eire, France and Belgium. It’s not a question of if the scenes that we have seen in Amsterdam would be repeated in places like London, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds, it’s when. The political failure of treating Islam as a ‘religion of peace’ when it is clearly and demonstrably no such thing, although some individual Muslims transcend their ideology, is what has led not only to the scenes that we have seen in Amsterdam but also to the multitude of terror attacks and sexual attacks on women and children that have occurred throughout Europe.

This is an ongoing story which I will be returning to but I’d like to conclude this piece with a warning. The non-Jews of Europe, which are the majority, should not think that the are safe from the sort of jihad (and the Pogrom in Amsterdam fits the definition of jihadi religious war) that we’ve seen on aspect of in Amsterdam. The hatred of Jews by some Muslims and which is hard baked into the core of Islamic ideology will not in the end spare the non-Jews, it certainly didn’t spare the Christians of the Arabian Peninsular after Mohammed and his Muslims conquered it. You the non-Jew of Europe gain nothing by thinking ‘they only want the Jews, let’s give them our Jews’, because these jihadis desire the death and subjugation of anyone who does not follow their particular version of Islam. As it is said in the Middle East with regards to the targets of Islamic violence: ‘After Saturday comes Sunday’ and YOU the Sunday people will be the next targets of Jihad after the Jewish ‘Saturday people’.
