Labour MP Jess Phillips has had an interview with Sky News on the subject of the future fate of the Elgin Marbles.

Her ‘who gives a toss’ attitude, which was clearly displayed in this interview, is not what we should be seeing from a politician who is supposed to represent their constituents.  It would have been perfectly fine for her to give a non committal answer, after all it’s something that politicians often have to do when being interviewed, but she didn’t do this, she basically said who gives a toss.

If you wanted a mascot for the Labour attitude to the public of ‘sod you I don’t care’ then you’d be hard pressed to find a more appropriate one than Jess Phillips.
