At last a good and positive decision from the British government

I think that so far I’ve made it pretty clear that I’m not the greatest fan of Britain’s current Labour government. In the short few months that they’ve been in power they’ve done a great deal of damage to the country in my opinion. They’ve raised taxes, have spent extravagantly, wastefully and on things that should not be priorities and have an energy policy that is increasingly likely to result in some form of energy crisis with all the resulting societal disruption that some sort of energy shock will bring in its wake. It is, I’m afraid, the sort of government for which the word ‘Omni-shambles’ might have been designed to describe.

But like a broken analogue clock which gives you the correct time twice per day, sometimes even the most awful and useless governments can get some things correct or do the right thing just once.

This government, for all its many faults, has at least stood up for reason and justice in one aspect of British life. The Health Secretary Wes Streeting MP has today announced that the temporary ban on prescribing puberty blockers to children who are confused about their gender self image, a ban imposed by the last Conservative government, would be made permanent.

According to my reading of a report on Sky News in the UK, it’s clear that Mr Streeting has had little choice but to take on board the results of medical experts who have declared puberty blockers to be medicines with an ‘unacceptable safety risk’. He’s also also plainly been influenced by he Cass Review into how cases of gender confused children were managed in Britain’s National Health Service (NHS). The Cass Review blew the proverbial lid off of claims by trans rights activists and the doctors who had allied themselves to these activists, that puberty blockers were vital drugs for gender confused children. The Cass Review found that there was remarkable little solid evidence into either the efficacy or safety of puberty blockers.

This is brilliant news for British children. No more will kids who are confused about their gender image or kids likely to grow up to be Lesbian, Gay or Bisexual be poisoned with these terrible drugs. This decision by the government means that the ability of what I call the ‘Gender Mengele’s’ to give kids medications that will lead them on a path of intellectual stunting and chemical sterilisation will be stopped. Kids will be allowed to grow up and be themselves because of this decision by the government.

Whilst I celebrate that no future child will be dosed up with dangerous and life altering drugs because of a societal fad called Gender Identity Ideology, I also that I must also grieve for those individuals for whom this decision came too late. There are now probably thousands of young people out there in many towns and cities who have already been through the gender mill. They are often suffering with terrible mental and physical health issues because of what the gender doctors have done to them. Sometimes they have been placed by gender treatment, to a greater or lesser degree depending on the individual, in situations where they can’t have their own children, they cannot achieve orgasm, they have malformed genitals and their mental health is completely shattered. Those who have been pushed towards surgery will be suffering from the butchery that too often passes for ‘gender affirming surgery’.

It’s a bittersweet moment. Future children have been rescued from a terrible fate but others have to live with the consequences of those in political and healthcare authority not making this decision years and years ago, something I believe should have been the case. Society should never ever have got into the business of putting ideology before medicine and allowing activist sympathising or ideologically captured medical staff to basically experiment with puberty blockers on children’s bodies.

I’m glad that we are in Britain at the end of the period where puberty blockers were given to confused, mentally ill and frightened children. The great shame is that this period in Britain’s medical history even bloody started in the first place.

  1. It’s a start, albeit a welcome one. The real battle of getting the toxic gender groomers OUT of schools, social “services” and the Marxist Indoctrination units posing as universities, hasn’t even been touched on as yet. Too many hard Leftists and dare I suggest, perverts, in positions to do the damage, grooming and indoctrinating innocents.
In the same manner as Hamas teaches innocents to hate Jews, these perverts and criminals teach children to hate themselves, presumably to fulfill their own sick sexual fetishes.

I wholly approve of that term “Gender Mengeles”, now the Gender SS must be cleared out, wholesale.

    • Agree it’s a start but the gender ideologists have managed to embed themselves in quite a few important areas of society such as schools and social services. It’s going to take time, even with a government committed to common sense (which we don’t have at the moment) to clear the gender drek out of governmental and third sector organisations.

I agree with those who say that the adherents of the gender ideology will get less and less over time. They also say that towards the end of the influence of the cult the only people who will be hanging on to it will be those who’ve transed their own kids. This is because for them to admit that they were wrong and that the gender ideology is hollow and baseless will also mean them admitting that they’ve done one of the worst things that is possible for someone to do to their children which is to mutilate and sterilise them.

      • Always suspected a lot of the support mermaids got was from parents trying to validate what they had done to their own children – this applies to their last ceo imo
