The ‘religion of peace’ has been being un-peaceful yet again.

Terrible news has come out of India. A group of tourists, mostly Indian citizens but including a few foreign visitors to Pahalgam, a picturesque part of the country in the Jammu and Kashmir region of India, were attacked by Islamic extremists. The terrorists killed at least 26 people and injured scores more and I would expect that that the death toll from this latest Islamic terror attack will rise as those seriously hurt succumb to their injuries.

The terrorists according to some reports deliberately sought out Hindus to kill. The terrorists, believed to be from an offshoot of the Lashkar-e-Taiba Islamic terror group, forced Hindu men to remove their trousers to check that they were circumcised and if they were not they were identified as Hindus and murdered.

All manner of innocent people were murdered in this latest outbreak of Islamic savagery to trouble India and the world. Honeymooning couples and others just enjoying the scenery and the outdoors were gunned down by the Islamic savages whose intention was clearly to murder anyone who was not able to prove that they were Muslim.

This is probably the worst Islamic terror attack in India since the attack on Mumbai back in 2008 which was also carried out by the Lashkar-e-Taiba Islamic terror group and which caused 175 deaths. In the Mumbai attack there were strong suspicions that the terrorists had training and support from former members of Pakistan’s military and intelligence services.

As with the Mumbai attacks the suspicion is that there is some significant involvement by Pakistani nationals in the Pahalgam atrocity. Because of this suspicion the Indian government does not appear to be messing about with their response to it.

The response by the Indian government to this latest Islamic atrocity to befall India is very robust. It is considerably more robust that the response by the governments of the United Kingdom when British subjects have been murdered by Islamic savages. According to some reports that I’ve read, the Indian government has given Pakistani nationals with particular types of visas 48 hours to leave India. I’m unsure how many people this could represent but it could be hundreds or even thousands of Pakistani nationals being forced to leave India. I don’t blame India for taking this course of action, the priority of the Indian government as it should be for any government wherever it is, is the protection of their citizens from further attacks of this nature.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this latest horrific demonstration of Islamic extremism. I also hope that the Indian authorities hunt down and execute those who have carried out this attack.
